In 1978 he made his first polaroid painting and exhibited the work in Brussels, Paris, London and Amsterdam. He focused on working with his polaroid compositions for 20 years.
Since 2010, he has devoted himself solely to drawing and painting on paper.
Over time, his work has led him to larger pieces painted in oil and pastels on papers and mounted on canvases and is directly inspired by all his experience of decomposition, composition, photographic collage.
The structure of his paintings, the masses and the balances that are found in them are strongly linked to all his previous works. He has presented numerous exhibitions in Europe and the United States. Several books and articles are devoted to him.
