Giorgio Piccaia was born in 1955 in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a son of art, his father is a twentieth century master and with him he attended the artistic environment of Geneva and then Milan, where he moved with his family. He studied architecture with Corrado Levi at the Politecnico di Milano, where he made performances. Between 1970 and 1980 he worked in Poland and Italy with Jerzy Grotowski, a great director and contemporary theatre theorist. His works are paintings and ceramics. His ateliers are in Agrate Conturbia and Lido di Camaiore in Italy.
In 2018 he is included in the book “Guide to the investment art” of Corriere della Sera. He's in Wopart 2018 in Lugano with the Ma-Ec gallery in Milan. www.giorgiopiccaia.it
